The official Blue Lock materials do not name a love interest for Yoichi Isagi. Kodansha’s character profile and the official anime character profile both describe him through football: his goal of becoming the world’s best striker and his path through the Blue Lock project. Neither gives him a romantic partner or a relationship status.
What the official profiles say about Isagi
Kodansha’s official profile identifies Isagi as the protagonist, gives his age and profile details, and explains that he joined the striker-development dormitory after regretting a decisive pass in a high-school match. It says he aims to become the world’s best egoist forward. The official anime character profile presents him as a young forward chasing a Japan national-team and World Cup dream through Blue Lock. Both frame his story around sporting ambition and development, not personal life.

What Bachira’s profile does and does not say
Meguru Bachira is the character most often mentioned alongside Isagi. The anime profile says Bachira took a strong interest in Isagi’s play after the two met in Team Z, and describes their connection as a mutual understanding. That describes a close sporting bond built on how they play against and with each other. It is not an official statement that they are romantically involved.
Common questions, answered from canon
- Does Isagi have a girlfriend? No girlfriend or partner is named in the official profiles.
- Is Bachira in love with Isagi? The official profile describes interest in Isagi’s play and a shared understanding. It does not describe romantic love.
- Is Isagi shipped with anyone? Fans pair characters with Isagi. Those pairings are fan interpretation, not canon.
Fan pairings versus canon
Intense rivalry, close teamwork and affectionate lines in translation can all read as romantic. Treat those readings as interpretation. A relationship counts as canon only when an official publication states it, and an online ship label, a single scene’s tone or a fan translation does not meet that standard.

How far this answer reaches
This answer rests on Kodansha’s official character profile and the official anime character profile. It does not cover every manga chapter, guidebook or other supplementary publication, so a later official release could address Isagi’s personal life. The official anime site has reported a third season in production; check its news page for current status, since production announcements change.
