How Dustin says their relationship began
In an interview reported by Mike Heck for MMA Fighting on March 4, 2025, Dustin recalled that Jolie wrote to him while he was in juvenile detention and visited him when he was released. What is The Good Fight Foundation?
Dustin and Jolie started The Good Fight Foundation in April 2018, according to UFC reporting. The idea grew from selling or auctioning Dustin’s fight-worn gear and directing the proceeds to people and causes in need. The foundation’s name was intended to make the charitable work bigger than Dustin’s personal profile. UFC’s feature on the foundation describes its origin and projects.

- UFC reported that early proceeds from auctioned fight gear helped provide 3,000 meals for Second Harvest Food Bank.

What is known about the Poiriers’ family?
UFC reported in 2016 that Dustin and Jolie had welcomed a daughter. A 2025 UFC profile described their daughter as eight years old and said Jolie was expecting a son later that year. That was an announcement of an expected arrival; the sources reviewed do not confirm the son’s birth or establish the family’s current composition.
