How they met and got engaged
In an October 24, 2019 Entertainment Tonight interview, published shortly after their engagement, Nadia said the two met in Reykjavik, Iceland, roughly a year and a half before that interview. She also explained that she was not disclosing her last name at the time, saying she was protecting her family’s privacy. The marriage: what Lissing confirmed

He described the decision in direct terms: “It was a pretty fast and easy decision to make. When you’ve met your ‘one,’ you just want to start your married life together as soon as possible.” He added: “We’re married now and we’re looking forward to everything ahead of us.”
Lissing also said the couple expected to celebrate with friends and family at a later date. Reporting from the period does not establish whether that larger gathering took place, so it should not be treated as having happened.
