His name has spread beyond that niche through livestream clips reposted across social media, unusual looksmaxxing slang and news coverage of controversies, including pending criminal charges in Massachusetts as of October 8, 2026.
What is Clavicular known for?
Peters became known for presenting extreme approaches to appearance optimization as part of looksmaxxing. The Guardian reported that he endorsed “bone smashing,” and quoted him saying, “Bone smashing is legit.” That is Peters’ stated view, not established medical advice or evidence that the practice is safe or effective. What does looksmaxxing mean?
Looksmaxxing is a community and content trend focused on trying to improve physical appearance. Its vocabulary can make clips hard to follow if you have not encountered the subculture before. The Guardian describes “mogging” as being better-looking than someone else, “frame-mogging” as having superior shoulders, and “jestermaxxing” as a mocking label for working on personality. The terms are deliberately insular, but they also work as punchlines and memes when clips circulate outside the original community.
Why is he everywhere right now?
His prominence is partly explained by the way livestreams produce short, attention-grabbing moments that can be clipped and redistributed to people who never watched the original broadcast. Bloomberg reported that 70,000 clips of Peters’ content were viewed 2.2 billion times across TikTok and Instagram Reels between March and April 2026. Bloomberg attributed the figures to data posted on X by a marketing firm Peters worked with; they are reported clip views, not a count of unique people or an independently audited platform measurement. Coverage offers additional explanations for how his audience broadened. The Guardian reported that Peters shifted from looksmaxxing-focused material toward long stretches of day-to-day livestreaming. The Atlantic described clips reaching more mainstream corners of the internet and situated the attention around provocation. What are the Massachusetts charges?
As of October 8, 2026, Peters faced charges in Massachusetts connected to an alleged May 2025 incident. The Associated Press reported charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse, and procuring alcohol for a person under 21. A clerk-magistrate found probable cause on September 4, the criminal complaint issued on September 8, and Peters was not in custody when AP published its September 22 report. His arraignment was scheduled for October 14, 2026—still in the future as of October 8. These are allegations, not a conviction or finding of guilt. AP said the accuser’s account in police documents was that she was 17 and became intoxicated after being given vodka. Those details are allegations described in the report, not established findings. In a related Florida civil filing, Peters’ attorneys denied the allegations, described the encounter as consensual and called the lawsuit a “publicity grab.” AP reported that his publicist had not commented on the Massachusetts charges at the time of publication. The accuser’s lawyer, Andrew Moss, told AP: “We are not commenting at this time since the proper authorities are handling this.”

Other proceedings reported by ABC had different outcomes and should not be conflated with the pending Massachusetts matter. ABC reported that Arizona charges and separate March assault charges were dropped. It also reported that Peters received six months’ probation in May 2026 for shooting a dead alligator during a livestream.
