In an interview with The Knot, published in coverage updated June 9, 2025, Evans said he proposed in Portuguese. In October 2025, The Independent reported that the couple had welcomed a child. Its account attributed the initial birth report to TMZ and the reported name, Alma Grace Baptista Evans, to People. The Independent’s report gives that attribution.

What have they said publicly about family life?
Public comments offer only a small window into the couple’s private lives. At the April 2026 premiere of Mother Mary, Baptista described Evans as “the best support guide” and said he had the best advice, according to Elle. At Fan Expo Boston in August 2026, Evans said, “I have a daughter now,” and briefly reflected that his priorities had shifted. These remarks are personal comments reported in specific interview settings, not grounds to infer more about their family life. Elle’s profile covers both comments.
