How did Brantley Gilbert meet his wife?
Gilbert said he met Amber in church about ten years before their 2015 wedding. In a May 2015 interview with E! News, he recalled that they dated on and off for five years. He attributed their breakup to choices he made and the people he was spending time with. These details are Gilbert’s account of their relationship.
In E! News’ June 30, 2015 wedding report, Gilbert described Amber as “the one that got away” and spoke about their reunion. In a later anniversary caption, he again used that phrase to describe her.

When did Brantley Gilbert and Amber marry?
The couple married in Georgia in June 2015. An iHeartCountry anniversary report published June 30, 2025, dates their wedding to June 28, 2015. Gilbert marked their tenth anniversary that month, writing that it was “hard to believe it’s been 10 years since I made the best decision of my life and married the one that got away.”

An October 16, 2024 iHeartCountry report says Gilbert and Amber have three children: Barrett Hardy-Clay, Braylen Hendrix, and Abram Howell Gilbert. It reports that Abram was born on October 11, 2024, after Amber went into labor during Gilbert’s performance in Tupelo, Mississippi. The outlet also reported that Gilbert was pulled off stage during the emergency.
