How long have Billy and Janice Crystal been married?
The Television Academy reports that the couple have been married since 1970. Billy has said that he met Janice when he was 18; a CBS Sunday Morning press release recounts his memory of their meeting after his father’s death. The source does not establish a precise date for when they met.
In a 2019 Television Academy interview, Billy recalled caring for their daughter Jenny during the day while Janice worked and he began performing stand-up at night. It is a specific glimpse of how work and family overlapped early in his career, not a full account of their household or relationship.
