Anastasia Baranova (reported, around 2017)
Bustle described the relationship with Baranova as Williams’s most recent public relationship, dating to around 2017. According to that reporting, the couple shared several photos on Instagram, and those posts were later deleted. Because the posts no longer exist publicly, readers cannot check them independently. The accurate description is a reported relationship, supported by secondary coverage rather than by material either person still publishes.
Karina Pasian (unconfirmed rumor, until sometime in 2015)
Bustle reported that Williams was rumored to have dated the singer until sometime in 2015. The same coverage says the two were seen together at events, and that Williams appeared in Pasian’s 2014 music video for “Solitaire.” It also states that the pair never publicly confirmed a relationship. A shared music video and joint appearances explain why the rumor circulated, but they do not establish a relationship. Treat this as an unconfirmed link, not a confirmed former partner.

Keke Palmer (lightly sourced)
Bustle mentions that Williams reportedly dated Palmer as a teenager. The mention gives no timeframe, details, or first-hand account from either person. It can be noted as a report, but it should not appear in any list of confirmed relationships.

What his 2022 “single” statement does and does not mean
In a 2022 Bustle interview, Williams said he was single and was using the Raya app at that time. That statement is accurate for the moment he made it, and it is the most direct statement he has given about his status. It cannot be carried forward to 2026. A status described four years ago tells readers nothing about a relationship that may have started or ended since then.
Why his current status is not public
In a September 2026 Haute Living cover interview, Williams addressed how he handles speculation about his private life. He said: “Any aspect of my personal life, I’m okay with that being misunderstood. My job is to not fuel the fire and not join the circus.” In the same interview he defined privacy as “the ability and the space to live without judgment.”

Williams’s most visible romance is fictional. On Abbott Elementary, his character Gregory has a storyline with Janine, the character played by Quinta Brunson. Fans often search for the show’s couples when they look for an actor’s dating history, but a scripted relationship is a written plot, not a report about the actors’ personal lives. Nothing in the reporting cited here connects the on-screen pairing to a real-life relationship.

When a new name appears in celebrity coverage, check three things before accepting it: whether the couple publicly confirmed the relationship, whether the coverage cites a specific date or event, and whether the report relies on material that is still publicly accessible. By those standards, only the Baranova link currently rests on reporting with a specific date, and even that rests on posts that are no longer visible.
