Actor Osvaldo Ríos has also recalled dating her in the late 1990s; Antonio de la Rúa is reported as a former partner, but the exact dates are not established by the sources cited here. Celebrity names linked to Shakira after Piqué remain unconfirmed rumors, not a verified dating list.
Gerard Piqué: Shakira’s longest clearly documented relationship
The Associated Press reported in 2024 that Shakira and Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué had separated in 2022 after 11 years together. They have two children. Shakira described the breakup to AP as the “dissolution of my family,” and said, “I’ve been through so much in these past few years that I had to literally pick up the pieces of myself and put them back together.” Associated Press, 2024

This is the strongest-documented relationship in the available reporting: the separation, duration and children are reported by a major news organization, rather than resting only on a former partner’s later recollection.
Osvaldo Ríos: a relationship recalled by the actor
In a podcast interview covered by Telemundo on December 24, 2024, actor Osvaldo Ríos said he and Shakira dated for almost a year in the late 1990s. He recalled that he was 36 and she was 20, and said they had discussed marriage. These details are Ríos’s retrospective account, not an independently established timeline.

Ríos said: “Estuvimos saliendo casi un año. Fuimos a París, a Brasil, a Puerto Rico, fuimos a muchos lugares siempre con su hermano Tonino porque era una familia libanesa muy tradicional. Yo tenía 36 años y ella 20.” He also said he thought marriage was not prudent because he expected Shakira’s career to take off. Telemundo, December 24, 2024
Antonio de la Rúa: reported as a former partner, dates unclear
Antonio de la Rúa is identified in reporting as one of Shakira’s former partners, but the sources cited here do not establish when the relationship began or ended. Without a source directly supporting a chronology, it is more accurate to name him without assigning dates or a duration.

Post-separation celebrity links were not confirmed
A June 14, 2024 Noticias Caracol report on Shakira’s interview with Rolling Stone noted that Tom Cruise, Lewis Hamilton, Jimmy Butler, Julian Edelman and Lucien Laviscount had been linked to her by rumor. The report said none of the possible romances had been confirmed, so they should not be presented as people she dated. Noticias Caracol, June 14, 2024
In that interview, Shakira said she was not thinking about a formal relationship and that her sons’ emotional and psychological well-being came first. That was her stated outlook in June 2024, not evidence of her relationship status today. In a separate interview with The Times, reported in March 2024, she remarked that it was “a pésima idea” for an artist to be with an athlete and said she might need to look for another artist. The comment expressed an outlook; it did not confirm that she was dating someone else. Noticias Caracol report on The Times interview
