Who called Remy Ma a “narcissist”?
Papoose aimed the label at his estranged wife, Remy Ma, in “Jezebel,” which Complex reported was released on September 11, 2026. The title’s wording can be read as if Remy Ma called Papoose or Shields a narcissist; the cited coverage instead attributes the word to Papoose, describing it as part of his diss track against Remy.
Complex also reported that the track accuses Remy of cheating and makes claims about their relationship and Papoose’s role in her songwriting. Those are allegations voiced in a song, not facts independently established by the coverage.
What does Papoose say about writing Remy Ma’s raps?
Complex quoted this lyric from “Jezebel”: “Put you before myself, I said you was nicer than Pap/Knowing deep down inside I was writing your raps.” It presents Papoose’s claim about songwriting; the lyric itself does not independently verify who wrote Remy Ma’s material.

Was the Claressa Shields exchange connected to the song?
iHeartRadio reported a separate online exchange between Remy Ma and Claressa Shields on September 11, 2026, the day “Jezebel” was released. The report described Shields as Papoose’s girlfriend and recounted posts and a screen recording of earlier Instagram messages between Shields and Remy. The reporting establishes the exchange as context, but does not establish it as the source of the song’s “narcissist” lyric.
Did Remy Ma respond to “Jezebel”?
On September 17, Remy Ma posted a video with rapper Millyz. In its September 18 report, iHeartRadio said fans interpreted the video as a response to “Jezebel”; the report did not establish that Remy confirmed that interpretation.

At a September 28 event for her EP “Alimony,” Remy Ma was asked about dating rumors and said she was “dating my music,” according to TMZ. That is her public comment at the event, not confirmation of her private relationship status.
