In a June 26, 2024 Netflix Tudum update, former cheerleader Reece Weaver said she and Will Allman had known each other for four years and were newly married. She described the challenge of being apart while she cheered: “I found out quickly that I cannot do long-distance.”
Vanity Fair reported that Weaver and Allman married in April 2024. Weaver said marriage factored into her decision to leave DCC, while making clear it was ultimately her decision. She is described in that profile as retired, so her story should not be read as information about a current squad member.

Does marriage among DCC members mean current cheerleaders are dating?
No. In a Netflix Tudum interview, director Kelli Finglass described weddings and friendships among DCC members as a recurring part of her experience: “We usually have four or five weddings a year, then they all become bridesmaids, and the next thing you see are all the baby showers.” That is her attributed description, not an independently verified statistic or evidence of any particular current cheerleader’s relationship status.
