Lil Durk named six children in a 2023 interview: Baby Sky, Zayden, Du’mi er, Willow, Bella and Angelo. He counted seven children in his family when he included Big Sky, India Royale’s older daughter. Later reporting lists a seventh reported biological child, Romeo, so public accounts do not agree on the biological-child count.
Who are the six children Lil Durk named?
In a 2023 interview with XXL, republished by Hip-Hop Now, Durk answered a question about how many children he had by naming Baby Sky, Zayden, Du’mier, Willow, Bella and Angelo. Read the interview.

- Angelo Banks and Bella Banks: Hindustan Times reports that their mother is Nicole Covone.
- Zayden Banks: Durk said, “Zayden’s super smart. He like computers and stuff.” Hindustan Times says his mother’s identity has not been publicly confirmed.
- Du’mier Banks: Named by Durk in the interview. Hindustan Times says his mother’s identity has not been publicly confirmed.
- Baby Sky / Skylar Banks: Durk called her “Baby Sky.” Later coverage uses “Skylar Banks”; an older Capital XTRA list spells the name “Skyler.” The spellings are variations in coverage, not evidence of separate children.
- Willow Banks: Hindustan Times reports that she is Durk and India Royale’s daughter.
The available reporting does not confirm a mother for every child, so identities beyond those specifically attributed above should not be inferred.
Why does Durk’s family count include seven?
Durk’s 2023 answer named seven children in his family: the six above plus Big Sky, India Royale’s older daughter. He clarified, “Big Sky is India’s daughter. You know I’ve been there for her. So, she one of mines.” In that answer, he distinguished Big Sky from his own six named children while including her as family.

Why do some reports say seven biological children?
A September 2026 Hindustan Times report lists seven reported biological children and adds Romeo Banks, whose name was not in Durk’s seven-name family list in the 2023 interview. The report says it draws on publicly available interviews, reports and social media, and that it cannot independently verify all details. Its Romeo claim should therefore be attributed to that later coverage rather than treated as a detail Durk confirmed in the interview.
The answer depends on what “kids” means: Durk named six children as his own in the 2023 interview and counted Big Sky as one of his family; later coverage reports seven biological children, but the public accounts conflict.

What is confirmed—and what remains unclear?
- Durk’s 2023 interview is the clearest source for the names he personally gave and how he counted Big Sky.
- Later reporting supplies the Romeo claim and reported maternal relationships for some children, but does not independently verify every detail.
- Maternal identities are not publicly confirmed for every child in the cited coverage.
- Capital XTRA’s older six-child list reflects an earlier account, not a resolution of the later discrepancy.
