A December 30, 2025 Classic Rock interview connects “Rowdy Days” with reckoning and survival, “Monsters” with family life, and “Born to Do” with a sense of purpose. Together, those subjects widen the album’s emotional range: the record is not only a display of volume, but also a set of songs about what follows the rowdy years, what matters at home, and what gives life direction.
Classic Rock reports that all 11 songs carry a single songwriting credit in vocalist Cody Cannon’s name. Cannon described a collaborative band process and said the credit pattern was not planned. As he put it: “Man, you know, John [Jeffers, guitar] writes, and Cody [Tate, guitar] writes.” He also said that the group works together and that “If we have a disagreement, we always will play it each person’s way.” The credit listing and Cannon’s account are worth keeping distinct: a formal songwriting credit does not establish that other members made no creative contribution.
