Regé-Jean Page singled out the vintage Longines Feuille d’Or in a 2024 interview, saying he is drawn to vintage watches with “a bit of history, a bit of story to it.” He did not say he owns one. The watch stands out for its remarkably slim design: Time+Tide describes it as a quartz model released in 1979 and reports that it was the first wristwatch to measure under 2 mm thick.
Which vintage Longines did Regé-Jean Page name?
In an interview published on 20 August 2024, Time+Tide’s Russell Sheldrake spoke with Page shortly before Royal Ascot about Longines. Asked whether he had explored the brand’s vintage watches, Page recalled a particularly thin old gold watch. He was unsure of its French name until a Longines team member supplied “feuille d’or.”

Page explained the appeal in personal terms: “But I’m an absolute sucker for a vintage watch, if something’s got a bit of history, a bit of story to it.” That is evidence of his interest in the model and in vintage watches generally—not evidence that he owns a Feuille d’Or. What is the Longines Feuille d’Or?
Time+Tide describes the Feuille d’Or as a quartz watch released in 1979. The article calls it a rebranded Concord Delirium and says its ultra-thin movement was made by Ebauches SA. It also reports that the watch was the first wristwatch to measure under 2 mm thick. These are the interview article’s historical and technical claims; they are not independently corroborated here.

The name means “gold leaf” in French, a fitting reference to the watch’s exceptionally thin, leaf-like profile. Its place in Page’s answer is as an unusual vintage design with a story—not as a contemporary Longines model or a watch he confirmed owning.
