The living-status tally comes from a secondary list, which records Connery and Moore as deceased and Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig as living: James Bond list at Who’s Alive and Who’s Dead. The broader count includes Barry Nelson, who played Bond in the 1954 television adaptation of Casino Royale, and David Niven, who played him in the 1967 non-EON film Casino Royale.
