Other well-known supporters named by the league include Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Judi Dench, Jodie Comer, Amanda Holden and Tony Bellew.
Who is Everton’s most famous fan?
According to the Premier League’s profile of clubs’ famous fans, the answer is Sylvester Stallone, the actor and filmmaker. The league says Stallone visited Goodison Park for a Premier League match in January 2007 after an invitation from his friend Robert Earl, then a club shareholder. Stallone later appeared on the pitch holding an Everton scarf.
His connection continued beyond that visit: the profile notes that he sent messages to Everton fans in January 2015 and for Goodison Park’s final game in May 2025. For that farewell, Stallone’s message included: “Go Blues. The future is looking bright. Keep punching, Everton.”
“Most famous” is the Premier League’s editorial description, not the result of a published fame ranking. It is best read as the league’s pick rather than an objective or exhaustive verdict.

Which other celebrities support Everton?
The Premier League profile also names these well-known Everton supporters:
- Sir Paul McCartney: The musician is listed by the league. Andy Burnham has also said he knows McCartney is an Evertonian, citing McCartney’s daughter Stella in a FourFourTwo interview. That is Burnham’s account, not a direct statement from McCartney.
- Dame Judi Dench: The actor is included on the Premier League’s list.
- Jodie Comer: The actor is listed by the league. Everton News reported that her father worked as a club kitman for more than 20 years, a family connection it links to her support.
- Amanda Holden: The broadcaster is named by the Premier League.
- Tony Bellew: The former boxer is named by the Premier League.
Politicians who support Everton
Andy Burnham
The Associated Press describes Andy Burnham as a lifelong Everton supporter and season-ticket holder. In its report on 16 September 2026, AP said Burnham and Mark Carney attended Everton’s match against Wolverhampton together. Burnham has also said he has supported the club since the 1970s, according to FourFourTwo.
Mark Carney
AP reported that former Bank of England governor Mark Carney supports Everton because of his Liverpool cousins, and that he attended matches during his seven years as governor. In the same September 2026 report, Burnham joked about having someone “to talk to and commiserate about Everton at a G7 meeting.”
Is Justin Bieber an Everton fan?
Justin Bieber has been linked to Everton, but the available account does not establish him as a confirmed supporter. Everton News’ 30 October 2024 list says Bieber has never confirmed an Everton allegiance and notes that wearing club shirts can reflect a broader interest in football. It is more accurate to describe him as linked to the club than to count him among confirmed Everton fans.

How to read famous-fan lists
Evidence varies between names: the Premier League presents Stallone and its other listed supporters as examples, while AP reports Burnham’s and Carney’s support alongside specific match attendance and background. Secondary lists can offer further names, but an association or a shirt sighting is not necessarily a public declaration. None of these lists is a complete register or a measured ranking of celebrity fame.
