In reports published January 1–2, 2025, several Cartoon Network and related animated series were reported to have left Max. The list included Teen Titans, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy and Static Shock. For Teen Titans Go!, the reported removal applied to seasons 1–7; season 8 was still on Max in the January 2 account. These are historical catalog reports, not a notice of removals happening now.
Which shows were reported removed from Max?
Nerdist’s January 2, 2025 report named the following series and seasons. ComicBook.com published a corroborating list the previous day, describing the removals as taking place in the final week of 2024 and on January 1, 2025.
- Teen Titans
- Teen Titans Go!, seasons 1–7
- Ed, Edd n’ Eddy
- The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
- Green Lantern: The Animated Series
- The Looney Tunes Show
- Static Shock
Nerdist also reported that the film Teen Titans Go! To the Movies had left Max. The report specifically said season 8 of Teen Titans Go! remained available at that time, so it would be inaccurate to say the entire series had disappeared from the service.
Where could viewers look for the titles?
Nerdist’s January 2, 2025 article gave these alternatives as a snapshot from its publication date:

Those listings are not confirmation of present-day availability. Catalogs can differ by country and change over time; streaming access and a one-time digital purchase are also different kinds of access. Check the exact title and season in your country’s service listings before subscribing or buying.
Why did the shows leave?
Max’s help page gives a general explanation rather than one specific to this group: “Some movies and shows are available for a limited time only.” It does not identify why these particular titles left. An Animation on Max social-media discussion mentioned expiring licenses and separate season end dates, but that is not an official Max explanation and does not establish the reason for any individual removal.

Max says subscribers can find upcoming departures in the app’s “Last Chance” row. A title leaving Max means it is no longer available there; it does not, by itself, mean the title has disappeared from every streaming or purchase service.
