Tito Jackson’s funeral gathering was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California—the cemetery where his father, Joe Jackson, and brother, Michael Jackson, were buried. But Tito was not interred there: after a smaller family ceremony, he was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. The distinction comes from an Associated Press correction to its November 5, 2024 report.
Where Tito Jackson’s funeral was held—and where he was buried
The November 4, 2024 gathering for family and friends took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. Tito’s interment followed a smaller family ceremony at a different cemetery, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, according to the Associated Press’s corrected report.

So the answer depends on what “same cemetery” means: Tito’s funeral venue was the Glendale cemetery shared by his father and brother, but his burial location was Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
How the Jackson family locations compare
| Person or event | Date | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Michael Jackson’s interment | September 2009 | Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, Glendale, as reported by the Los Angeles Times on September 4, 2009. |
| Joe Jackson’s burial | 2018 | Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, according to the Associated Press. |
| Tito Jackson’s funeral gathering | November 4, 2024 | Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, according to the Associated Press report. |
| Tito Jackson’s interment | November 4, 2024 | Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, as specified in the Associated Press report’s correction. |
Why reports can appear to place Tito at the Glendale cemetery
The funeral gathering and interment were separate events at separate Forest Lawn locations. The Associated Press corrected its report to make clear that Tito was interred at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills after the smaller family ceremony, rather than at the Glendale site where the public-facing funeral gathering took place.
