Back in Action was filmed using Shepperton Studios and locations in London and elsewhere in England, with scene-level location reporting also placing parts of the film in Atlanta, Georgia, and Slovenia. Some places shown on screen are altered or stand in for different story settings, so a setting named in the film is not necessarily where the scene was shot.
Where was Back in Action filmed?
The clearest production-side confirmation comes from Uni-versal Extras, which says it worked on the film at Shepperton Studios and in London and lists Shepperton Film Studios as a filming location: Uni-versal Extras. TheWrap also reports that the end credits acknowledge Shepperton Studios, the Georgia Film Office, and the Republic of Slovenia, while referencing a Canadian production-services tax credit with Quebec specifically mentioned: TheWrap. Those credit acknowledgments suggest production ties, but do not identify the location of any particular scene.
For specific scene matches, Atlas of Wonders identifies locations in England, Atlanta, and Slovenia. Those matches are best understood as location-guide identifications, rather than production call-sheet confirmation: Atlas of Wonders.
Which scenes were filmed in Slovenia?
Atlas of Wonders identifies the opening establishing shot as Ljubljana. The guide says the palace shown as Matt and Emily’s lodging is not a single real building as presented: the image was composited, with a building near St. James Bridge in Ljubljana’s historic center used as the backdrop. It also identifies a house in the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps as a filming location.

The same guide associates the Thames Barrier with a river sequence, Bankside and a tunnel near Zizzi by Southwark Bridge with the motorbike chase, and the walkway at Butler’s Wharf Pier with Matt’s jump onto a boat, with Tower Bridge visible in the background. Are the film’s locations open to visitors?
Filming at a place does not mean it is open to casual visitors. The sources identify locations but do not establish current access, opening hours, tours, or photography permissions. Check the official venue or property information before planning a visit, particularly for working studios, private estates, operational sites, and businesses.
