The free Apple TV+ viewing window for A Charlie Brown Christmas that inspired this headline was December 14–15, 2024, and it has expired. Apple’s October 2025 announcement said subscribers could watch Peanuts holiday classics anytime, but it did not establish a 2026 free-viewing schedule. Check Apple TV+ for current access before planning a watch.
What happened to the free-streaming offer?
Apple announced that nonsubscribers could stream A Charlie Brown Christmas free on December 14 and 15, 2024. Those dates were part of a limited U.S.-oriented holiday promotion, not a recurring annual offer. Apple’s announcement also listed free windows for It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on October 19–20 and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on November 23–24 that year. Apple’s 2024 announcement confirms the dates.
Where can you watch it now?
Apple TV+
Apple announced on October 1, 2025 that its exclusive Peanuts streaming partnership would continue through 2030. The company said subscribers could watch the holiday classics anytime, while also announcing limited free windows for three specials in 2025. The announcement does not confirm whether a free window is active in 2026 or specify current subscription terms. Check Apple TV+ for the special’s present availability and any current offer. Apple’s October 2025 announcement describes the partnership and access plan.
Physical home video
A DVD or other physical edition may offer a way to revisit the special without relying on a streaming window. No particular edition or current retailer listing was verified, so check the format, included material, and seller before buying.
