The viral sandworm popcorn bucket was originally sold by AMC Theatres, but that 2024 theater release has passed. The current buying route supported by available listings is resale on eBay; check each listing carefully, since availability and prices vary. No current AMC listing or Amazon inventory for this exact bucket was verified.

Dune - Golden Sandworm Tote Bag | $21.99 | Buy on Amazon |
Confirm that the item is the AMC sandworm-lid popcorn bucket, rather than another Dune-themed container or piece of merchandise. Review the photos, condition, seller history, shipping terms, return policy, and total delivered cost, including any import charges.
AMC Theatres
AMC was the original theater-chain seller. Its current shop search result shows other official merchandise but did not list this specific bucket. That means no current official listing was found; it does not establish that AMC will never restock it. Check the AMC merchandise shop for any change in availability.

Amazon and Regal
Current Amazon inventory for this exact bucket has not been verified. If searching there, use the specific phrase “Dune Part Two AMC sandworm popcorn bucket” and confirm the product identity rather than assuming a result is the collectible shown in viral coverage.
Regal sells its own popcorn containers and Dune-related merchandise, but those are separate from AMC’s Dune: Part Two sandworm bucket. A Dune-branded item from Regal should not be mistaken for the AMC collectible.
What did the bucket originally cost?
Gizmodo reported an original price of $24.99 for the AMC theater bucket in 2024, including popcorn. That is historical context, not a current resale price. On eBay, asking prices and shipping charges vary by seller; compare the complete delivered cost rather than treating any one listing as a market average.

- Match the item: Look for the AMC Dune: Part Two bucket with its sandworm lid. Read the title and description; do not rely on a Dune label alone.
- Inspect condition: Check the listing’s photos for wear, damage, or missing parts, and confirm whether the bucket is sealed, unused, or used.
- Calculate total cost: Add shipping and any potential import charges to the asking price.
- Review seller terms: Check seller feedback and history, the return policy, and the protections stated on the listing.
- Check fulfillment: Review the seller’s location and estimated delivery timing before placing an order.
Because these details are specific to each offer, rely on the live listing rather than old screenshots or previously reported asking prices.

Why the original release is hard to find
AMC began offering the sandworm bucket at participating theaters on February 29, 2024, ahead of the film’s wide release. The theater launch is over; today, a buyer should treat marketplace listings as resale offers rather than expect the original theater price or a guaranteed official restock.
