Seasons 1 through 3 of Tracker were produced in British Columbia, Canada. Season 4 moved production to Los Angeles, California. The show’s stories travel across the United States, so the places named in an episode are not necessarily where that episode was shot. The sources below establish the production base for each season and one episode-specific filming location, but they do not publish a complete list of shooting sites.
Where each season was produced
The table lists the production base that each source establishes, with the date of the source and the listed production dates where a source gives them.

In short, the answer to “where is Tracker filmed” depends on the season: British Columbia for seasons 1 through 3, and Los Angeles for season 4.
A confirmed episode location: Season 2, Episode 4
The one episode-level location in the available reporting is season 2, episode 4, which the Okanagan Film Commission says was filmed in Oliver and Okanagan Falls, two communities in the Okanagan region of southern British Columbia. The commission’s report, dated November 7, 2024, describes the episode’s vineyard backdrop. The region’s commissioner, Jon Summerland, said in the same report: “Filming in the Okanagan always brings something special to the show,” adding, “From the local talent to the breathtaking scenery, every episode filmed here leaves a lasting impact on both the production and the community.”

This is the only episode for which a specific filming community is named in the sources. Other episodes may have been shot in the same region, but no public source reviewed here confirms that.
A production address is not a shooting map
Union listings and production-office details tell you where a production was administered and based. They do not tell you where each scene was recorded. The season 2 Langley address, for example, shows where that production was listed, not that every scene was shot in Langley. Similarly, a Vancouver production office for season 3 describes the production’s base, not a complete set of filming sites.

The same caution applies to the season 1 claim. Creative BC’s report places the season across British Columbia’s regions, but it does not identify each location within the province.
Story setting is not filming location
Tracker follows Colter Shaw, a man who travels from place to place to find people for cases, so the fictional locations change from episode to episode. A story set in one state or town is often filmed somewhere else entirely. Elwood Reid described the series to the Los Angeles Times as “very much a road show,” and he discussed how the Los Angeles production uses locations to stand in for a range of places. The move to Los Angeles for season 4 was intended to give the series a different range of landscapes to work with, according to that interview.

The production base shows where the show was made.
Visiting the filming locations
The available sources do not establish public access to any filming site, nor do they show that location tours exist. Vineyards and private properties used in filming are not necessarily open to visitors, and the Oliver and Okanagan Falls episode should not be treated as a ready-made itinerary. Anyone planning a trip to the Okanagan should check with local tourism offices and the properties themselves before going.

Before you accept a location claim about Tracker or any similar series, check the following:
- Who published it. A film commission report that names a specific community is stronger than a general mention in an interview.
- What it names. A region, a production office and a specific episode are three different kinds of claim.
- When it was published. Production bases can change between seasons, as the move to Los Angeles shows.
- Whether it is a production listing. Listing dates show when work was scheduled, not every location used on those days.
Applying these checks to the sources above explains why the season-level answer is firm while the episode-level detail is limited.
