The three people at the center of Rust Valley Restorers are still Mike Hall, Avery Shoaf and Connor Hall. The most recent reporting available says the series returned for a sixth season in late 2024, and no seventh season has been confirmed. Beyond that core trio, the picture is uneven. Mike Hall’s collection has changed sharply since the early seasons, Avery Shoaf runs a restoration business that reporting describes as separate from Mike’s, and public information about most of the supporting crew is thin.
What the show is and where it is made
Corus Studios describes the series as following a restoration shop in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with Mike Hall at its center and his friend Avery Shoaf and son Connor working alongside him. Netflix’s listing names Mike Hall, Avery Shoaf and Connor Hall as the starring cast.
The show is Canadian. A Corus press release dated October 28, 2019 places the shop in Tappen, British Columbia, and says the team restores, trades and sells classic cars. The series is produced by Mayhem Entertainment in association with Corus Studios for HISTORY.

| Cassidy Mceown | Crew member with Mike Hall’s restoration team | Continued working with the crew; mechanical, painting and social-media activity | TheBiography.org, 2026 | Secondary reporting, not first-party confirmation |
Mike Hall
The clearest documented change in Mike Hall’s life concerns his collection. A local iNFOnews report by Carli Berry, dated October 7, 2022, says he reduced a collection of roughly 600 cars to 40 after a series of auctions. Hall discussed the sales in that report. He said: “I think we sold every car we had listed. I took an ass-whooping on some and some went for way more than I expected so on the aggregate it went very well.” He also said: “For the first time in my life, everything fits in one yard.”

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Those 2022 figures describe that point in time only. A 2026 article from TheBiography.org says Hall had rebuilt the collection to more than 100 cars by 2024. That is retrospective secondary reporting, not a count made at the time, and it does not establish how many cars he has today. Readers should treat the 2022 and 2024 numbers as two separate snapshots.
Avery Shoaf
Avery Shoaf’s official website identifies him as a Canadian television personality known for Rust Valley Restorers, and says he previously ran a company that rebuilt heavy equipment. The site currently features his podcast and a merchandise section, which confirms that his public presence is active, though the site does not describe his workshop in detail.

For his current work, the strongest source is the 2026 TheBiography.org article. It reports that his Wildman Restorations business remained active and separate from Mike Hall’s Rust Bros operation, and that Avery had resumed posting work and life updates online. Those business details come from that secondary report and have not been confirmed by a primary statement from Avery in the material available.
Connor Hall
Official series descriptions identify Connor as Mike Hall’s son and a central cast member. Beyond that connection, the available information does not establish his current job or business role, so it should not be presented as settled fact. Readers looking for his present activities will need a primary statement from him or a recent interview, neither of which appears in the reporting reviewed here.

Cassidy Mceown and the wider crew
A 2026 TheBiography.org article reports that Cassidy Mceown continued working with Mike Hall’s restoration crew and describes mechanical, painting and social-media activity. Like the other late-stage updates, this is secondary reporting rather than confirmation from Cassidy or the production. Public information on the rest of the supporting crew is limited, and their current employment or whereabouts cannot be confirmed from available sources.
Where the show stands
The latest season information in the available reporting is the TheBiography.org account that season six premiered in late 2024 after a hiatus. The Corus page names five seasons. Netflix’s listing currently shows three, so its count should not be read as the complete run across platforms or territories.

- Two Mike Hall collection figures: the 40-car count is from 2022, after auctions, and the 100-plus figure is a 2024 retrospective from a 2026 secondary article. They are not contradictory; they describe different dates.
- Two Hall operations: Mike Hall’s crew works under the Rust Bros name, while Avery Shoaf’s Wildman Restorations is reported as a separate business.
- Season counts: the Corus listing and the Netflix listing differ, so check the platform and territory before quoting a total.
For most readers, the practical answer is that the three leads are all still associated with the show, while claims about their current jobs and the crew’s status should be read as dated or secondary reporting.
