What happened in the Ruby Franke case?
Ruby Franke, who became known through the family-vlogging channel 8 Passengers, pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse. Co-defendant Jodi Hildebrandt also pleaded guilty to four counts. Each received consecutive terms of one to 15 years per count, subject to Utah’s 30-year aggregate cap. Ruby’s original parole hearing was reported as scheduled for December 2026; a hearing date is not a release date.
