Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods were reported together at a February 2026 ceremony celebrating their son Charlie’s high school golf team. The reports establish a family milestone—not that the encounter was awkward. Nordegren’s life today is largely private; a July 2026 profile describes her education and counseling work, though her exact current professional role is not independently established in the reporting reviewed here.
What happened at the reported reunion?
On February 24, 2026, Woods and Nordegren reportedly attended a ceremony at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, marking Charlie Woods and his high school golf team’s state championship. E! reported that both parents were there and posed with Charlie; Us Weekly also noted their joint presence. The accounts describe a celebration for their son, not a tense encounter, so “awkward” should be treated as headline framing rather than a verified account of how either parent felt. E! How did Nordegren and Woods’ relationship change after their divorce?
Their divorce was finalized in August 2010, after Woods’s infidelity became public. In an interview reported at the time, Nordegren said she had been blindsided by the affairs and hoped to regain privacy for herself and the children. ABC News’ 2010 report covered those comments and the divorce.
By 2014, Nordegren was publicly describing a child-centered relationship with Woods. ABC News reported that they shared custody of Sam and Charlie and quoted her saying: “My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good — we really are — and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father.” ABC News, May 22, 2014. That statement predates the 2026 ceremony; it should not be read as a comment on that event.

Those details come from that profile; her current license, practice status, and client work are not independently confirmed by the reporting cited here. Tuko’s July 9, 2026 profile.
