The latest located report directly addressing Steven Seagal’s residence, published by VEJA on June 13, 2026, says he lives on the outskirts of Moscow. That is a reported residence, not independent confirmation of his precise whereabouts on October 8, 2026. His appearances in other cities are dated visits, not proof that he lives there.
Where does Steven Seagal live now?
VEJA reported on June 13, 2026, that Seagal lives in the outskirts of Moscow. The article also reported that he appeared at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. It gives no street address and does not independently verify where he was on October 8, 2026, so the most accurate answer is that Moscow’s outskirts are his reported residence, not a confirmed real-time location. Why his appearances elsewhere do not establish where he lives
Belgrade in September 2025
On September 11, 2025, Serbian news agency Tanjug reported that Seagal was in Belgrade for the start of filming on the action thriller Order of the Dragon and met Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. This establishes a dated visit and work-related appearance, not residence in Serbia. Tanjug’s report.
Vladivostok in September 2025
RBC reported that Seagal attended the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September 2025. Speaking to journalists, he said in Russian: “Я не еду в США, я приехал в Россию. Я — русский” (“I am not going to the United States; I came to Russia. I am Russian”). The statement reflects what he said at that event; it does not establish a specific home address. St. Petersburg in June 2026
VEJA also reported his appearance at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. An event appearance in that city is distinct from the same article’s report that he lives near Moscow.
Does a Moscow-area property listing identify his home?
No. On January 29, 2026, The Moscow Times, citing RBC, reported that a mansion associated with Seagal in Usovo, a western Moscow suburb, had been listed for sale. The listing does not show whether he lived at the property, whether it was his residence at the time, or where he lives now. Read the property report.

What is Steven Seagal doing now?
Recent reporting describes activity in Russia beyond his film career. VEJA characterized Seagal as serving in a public-relations capacity for the A Just Russia party and reported that a documentary, Em Nome da Justiça, was available on the state platform Smotrim. These descriptions are attributed to VEJA; they should not be read as a neutral official job title. The publication also reproduced a line it attributes to Seagal in the documentary: “Se necessário, é preciso morrer por Putin” (“If necessary, it is necessary to die for Putin”). Its article is not a transcript. See VEJA’s account.
For business background, The Moscow Times reported in July 2025, citing Kommersant, that Seagal had resigned as CEO of Five Elements LLC and retained a minority stake in another Russian company. That dated business report does not establish his residence or current business role. Read the report.

What his citizenship does—and does not—tell us
RBC reports that Seagal holds Russian, U.S., and Serbian citizenship and received Russian citizenship in 2016. Tanjug also reports that he received Serbian citizenship in 2016. Citizenship describes legal status, not where someone currently lives. RBC’s account and Tanjug’s report provide the cited details.
