Do Harry and Meghan still own Frogmore Cottage?
Frogmore Cottage was their UK family home under the arrangement announced in January 2020, not evidence that they owned the royal residence outright. In a statement issued in Queen Elizabeth II’s name, Buckingham Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared their wish to repay Sovereign Grant expenditure for the refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage, which will remain their UK family home.” That sentence describes the arrangement at the time, not their current residence.
