David Beckham was reported filming a Stella Artois advert in Barcelona, Spain, in 2024. PerthNow said he was seen carrying six bottles of lager and walking a scruffy dog, with the shoot taking in two bars and the city’s Born district. The report was published on 29 January 2024; it does not state when the filming took place.
What was Beckham doing in Spain?
PerthNow reported that Beckham was filming a Stella Artois beer advert in Barcelona. Its account described him carrying six bottles of lager and walking a scruffy dog. Those are details reported from the set, not independently confirmed production information.
The article named El Metropolitan and El Paradis bars, as well as Barcelona’s Born district, as filming locations. The available account does not independently verify those locations.
How the shoot fits Stella Artois’ Beckham campaign
On 12 March 2024, Stella Artois’ parent company AB InBev announced Beckham’s partnership with the brand under its “For Moments Worth More” campaign. The announcement identified “A Taste Worth More” as the campaign’s premiere creative. It establishes the broader campaign context, but does not identify the Barcelona filming reported by PerthNow as that specific advert.

- Reported: PerthNow’s 29 January 2024 article said Beckham was filming in Barcelona with Stella Artois bottles and a dog, and named El Metropolitan, El Paradis and the Born district.
- Not established: The shoot date, the precise advert being filmed, and whether that advert is currently running or available in particular markets.
- Separate later campaigns: Beckham-fronted Stella Artois campaigns announced in 2025 and 2026 are distinct from the Barcelona shoot described in the 2024 report.
Stella Artois serving context
