The answer to where its couples are from depends on the season—and whether you mean each partner’s home or the place they plan to live together. TLC’s complete official cast listing available here covers season 7; season 8 premiered October 4, 2026, but premiere coverage identifies only some couples and does not provide a full cast roster.
Season 7 couples and where they are from
TLC’s season 7 cast page lists six couples. The table separates each American cast member’s stated home from the other partner’s stated location and the relocation destination described on the page.

These are the locations and plans stated on TLC’s official season 7 cast page. The U.S. locations are reported at the level TLC gives them; they should not be read as more specific hometowns.
What is known about season 8?
Season 8 returned on October 4, 2026, according to Warner Bros. Discovery’s announcement and its October 2026 programming listing. A CinemaBlend report published October 5, 2026, identifies Nigel and Andi, and Ally and Jonathan, but does not establish the complete season cast.

Nigel and Andi
The premiere report says Andi is preparing to move to Australia to be with Nigel. It does not provide a complete list of both partners’ home locations.
Ally and Jonathan
The report places Ally and Jonathan in Asia in the article text; its image caption identifies Malaysia. That is a partial location clue, not a complete origin listing or confirmation of the full season roster.

Why the locations change by season
The series follows Americans relocating abroad to join their partners, so “where are they from?” can mean the American partner’s home, the other partner’s location, or the couple’s intended destination. TLC’s series page lists the original season’s couples, including Jenny from Palm Springs, California, and Sumit from India; Laura from Eustis, Florida, and Aladin from Qatar; and Tiffany from Frederick, Maryland, and Ronald from South Africa. Those are season 1 examples, not the current cast.
