The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says little is known about the family’s later whereabouts, and Bustle says it is difficult to determine where the children are now. Their names are also inconsistent across secondary accounts, so claims about their adult lives should be treated cautiously.
What is known about the Montgomery children?
Pat and Candy Montgomery had a son and a daughter. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the family moved to Wylie, Texas, in 1977 with their children. That past move does not establish where either child lives today. The Star-Telegram’s account says little is known about the family’s later whereabouts.
Are their names Jennifer and Ian?
Some entertainment coverage identifies the children as Jennifer, sometimes called Jenny, and Ian. The Cinemaholic uses those names, but Bustle says the children’s names have not been fully made public. The names therefore remain reported rather than independently confirmed in the available public accounts. The Cinemaholic’s account and Bustle’s account do not establish their present circumstances.
Does Love & Death reveal where they are now?
TIME discusses the family’s move to Georgia in the context of the series Love & Death and its closing updates. That is adaptation context, not independent confirmation of the children’s current lives. TIME also notes that the series dramatizes events, including modified or created scenes and dialogue. A depiction or end-card update in a dramatization is not equivalent to a direct account from either child. TIME’s explanation of the true story behind the series places those details in context.

What should not be presented as fact
The public reporting available does not reliably establish a current city, occupation, spouse, children, or relationship with their parents for either child. Some secondary coverage makes claims about their later lives, but the conflicting names and lack of independent confirmation do not support presenting those details as verified. The responsible answer is that their current whereabouts and circumstances remain unknown in reliable public reporting.
