Some are still working in reality television or running podcasts and online shows about the game. Others have built careers outside entertainment, and a few have largely stepped out of public view. Read “now” as the most recent publicly reported snapshot, not a live account of anyone’s life.
The “26” in the original headline is out of date. This article covers 29 names: the winners profiled in a Hollywood Life retrospective dated July 8, 2026, which runs through season 27, plus Rick Devens, the season 28 winner announced in October 2026.

What the count covers
The 27 names from the July retrospective include one winner from each US main-series season from 1 through 27, with season 22 represented by Cody Calafiore, the winner of the All-Stars edition. The list also includes Morgan Willett, the winner of the digital spin-off Big Brother: Over the Top. Devens brings the total to 29. The Big Brother franchise roster on Wikipedia lists All-Stars and Over the Top separately from the main series, so keep those editions distinct if you cross-check the numbers.
This is a profile list, not a complete census of every edition-level winner. Where a winner’s current life is not covered in the reporting, this article says so rather than filling the gap.

Season 28 and its winner
CBS and Paramount announced Rick Devens as the season 28 winner on October 1, 2026, in an official season 28 release. According to that release, Devens entered the house as an “Icon,” won two Head of Household competitions, two Power of Veto competitions and a BB Blockbuster, and persuaded the jury to award him the grand prize. The release describes him in institutional language as “the first SURVIVOR Castaway to win BIG BROTHER.” That is CBS and Paramount’s statement, not a quotation from Devens himself.
CBS Mornings aired an interview with Devens on October 2, 2026, according to a CBS Mornings listing. The listing does not include the interview’s transcript, so this article does not quote anything he said in it. Beyond the game, his occupation and personal life have not been reported in the material available for this update.
The same release gives season-level figures for the season, all attributed to CBS and Paramount’s own measurements:
- 14.8 billion minutes watched for season 28, up 9% from the prior summer, according to the release.
- 5.1 million average viewers in seven-day multiplatform viewing, an 8% year-over-year increase, according to the release.
- 1,000 original episodes, which CBS describes as a first for a primetime series.
- More than 52 hours of original programming, which CBS describes as the most in the franchise’s 26-year history.
Where each winner stands
Unless a row says otherwise, the entries below come from the July 8, 2026 Hollywood Life retrospective. They are attributed reporting, not independently refreshed biographies, and some older entries may have changed since the piece was published.

Patterns across the winners
The paths fall into four broad groups, and many winners fit more than one.
Staying in reality television
Several winners have returned to competition shows, most often The Challenge, The Amazing Race, Survivor and The Traitors. Kirby, Moss, Reilly, Franzel, Martinez, Clark, Calafiore, Prather and Willett all fall into this group. Their rosters of appearances make reality television the most common thread among the winners who have stayed visible.
Rank #4
Working in media and online
Podcasts, YouTube, Twitch and social media account for a large share of the later careers. Donato, Gheesling, Lloyd, Levasseur, Calafiore, Willett, Bains, Hollis and Baham have all built work around audiences, and for several of them that audience is the main public face of their current life.
Careers outside entertainment
Some winners took professional paths that have little to do with the show. Terry, Moses, Song, Jasinski, Prather, Hollis and Bains work in consulting, sound design and advisory services, contracting, law, content strategy and real estate. For these winners the reporting describes the work itself, not a public-facing persona.

Stepping back from publicity
Daniel and Ausburn are the clearest examples of winners who have stayed out of the spotlight, and the retrospective reports no current public role for either of them. Michie’s update is also missing from the available text. Stepping back is a choice these winners have made, not a sign of anything else, and this article does not speculate about their private lives.
Reading older and unconfirmed reporting
Three kinds of material in winner profiles need special care. Legal, bankruptcy and arrest reports are historical coverage and should not be presented as present-tense identity. Health disclosures from years ago are past statements. Engagements, relationships and family details reported in 2022 or 2023 may have changed, so check them against a recent first-party source before repeating them as current. Where the table says a current detail is “not stated,” the reporting available for this update did not establish it, and the gap is not a claim that the answer is negative.
Where to watch
CBS’s own episode listings place Big Brother on Paramount+. Streaming catalogs vary by country and change over time, so check the service directly for current availability in your territory.
