On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, Angus Young and other AC/DC members were reported around Perth’s CBD and Elizabeth Quay, meeting fans ahead of the band’s first Perth concert the next day. Young signed records, bells, large bottle tops and other items, according to PerthNow’s account.
Where AC/DC appeared and what happened
Fans encountered band members around Perth’s CBD, including near the Ritz-Carlton and Elizabeth Quay. PerthNow reported that Angus Young stopped to sign items brought by fans. Its account also described Stevie Young and Chris Chaney around the city, and an outing at Elizabeth Quay involving Cliff Williams and Matt Laug.
There is a lineup distinction worth keeping clear: AC/DC’s official Australian tour announcement named the 2025 touring lineup as Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Matt Laug and Chris Chaney. PerthNow’s mention of Cliff Williams at the Elizabeth Quay outing does not establish him as a member of that touring lineup.
When the Perth shows took place
The fan appearances were reported on 3 December, before AC/DC’s first Perth show at Optus Stadium on Thursday, 4 December 2025. The band also played a second Perth show on Monday, 8 December, according to PerthNow; the official tour announcement confirms the 4 December date.

The Australian POWER UP tour was AC/DC’s first Australian tour since 2015. The band’s announcement named Amyl and the Sniffers as special guests and identified POWER UP as its 2020 album. AC/DC said the album debuted at number one in Australia and 20 other countries.
Perth’s temporary AC/DC merchandise shop
Fan activity extended beyond the sightings. PerthNow reported a queue longer than 50 metres at the Cleaver House pop-up in West Perth. The shop offered apparel, vinyl collections and posters, including merchandise the newspaper said was not available at the stadium. Its reported opening dates and hours were 3–8 December 2025; the pop-up was a temporary event, not a current retail option.
