How the viral ranking differs from a most-streamed chart
Spotify’s Global Viral 50 is not the same chart as a list of the most-streamed songs. A viral-chart position should not be read as a daily or weekly Top Songs ranking, nor as a direct count of all plays. Spotify says its chart formula filters streams, so eligible chart counts can differ from totals shown on Spotify or Spotify for Artists. See Spotify’s explanation of how charts are calculated.
#1 Best Overall
The distinction matters in the October 2021 coverage. POPLine also reported that, in Brazil’s most-streamed Top 50, “Por Supuesto” moved from No. 51 to No. 27 on October 26 and received 377,748 streams in the preceding 24 hours. Those are figures reported by POPLine, not a first-party Spotify certification of the viral-chart ranking or stream count.
Song and other chart context
Spotify’s catalog lists “Por Supuesto” as a 3:06 track on Marina Sena’s album De Primeira, dated August 19, 2021: Spotify track listing.
Rank #2
A separate archive records weekly country-chart peaks of No. 10 in Brazil for the week of November 11, 2021, and No. 68 in Portugal for the week of November 25, 2021. These are country-chart positions, not Global Viral 50 rankings: Kworb chart archive.

The evidence establishes a reported October 2021 climb, culminating in No. 1 on October 29; it does not establish the song’s present-day Global Viral 50 position. Spotify’s chart portal requires login for global chart access in the view available here: Spotify Charts. Spotify says daily charts typically publish before 6 p.m. Eastern the following day, while weekly charts cover Friday through Thursday and publish after the week ends globally. The historical date-specific reports above are therefore the basis for the climb described here, not a current ranking.
