That listing does not name a subscription service, and nothing reviewed confirms the film is included with any subscription. The official distributor, Lionsgate, sells the film as a digital purchase and on physical discs, so the most accurate answer is that you can buy it digitally now, while whether you can watch it free with a subscription depends on your country and service.
Release timeline
Good Fortune is a fiction comedy, not a documentary. Aziz Ansari makes his directorial debut with it, and Keanu Reeves stars. The story follows Gabriel, an inept angel who intervenes in the lives of Arj, a struggling gig worker, and Jeff, a wealthy venture capitalist.

- October 17, 2025: U.S. theatrical release, as listed on Lionsgate’s official film page and on Rotten Tomatoes.
- November 7, 2025: “Release Date (Streaming)” on Rotten Tomatoes. This is a secondary listing. It does not identify a platform or say whether “streaming” means digital purchase, rental, or subscription inclusion.
Ways to watch it now
Lionsgate’s official page is the most reliable source for the formats it sells. The table below separates what that page states from what it leaves open.
| Option | What Lionsgate’s page shows | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Digital purchase | A “Digital” buy option, with Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango, Xfinity, and YouTube named as digital retailers | Whether each retailer also offers rental, and the pricing or terms in each country |
| 4K Ultra HD | Purchase option, with Amazon among the named retailers | Current stock or price at any given retailer |
| Blu-ray combo | Purchase option, with Amazon and other retailers named | Current stock or price at any given retailer |
| DVD | Purchase option, with Amazon and other retailers named | Current stock or price at any given retailer |
| Subscription streaming | Not stated by Lionsgate. Prime Video has a title page for the 2025 film | Not established as included with a Prime membership, and not confirmed for every country |
These listings show purchase paths. They do not show that the film is free to watch on any service.

Checking subscription availability where you live
Because catalogs differ by country and change over time, the listing that matters is the one in your own region. Use this order:
- Open the service’s title page for Good Fortune in your country, not a general search result from another region.
- Check whether the page offers the film as included with your subscription, or only as a purchase or rental.
- If the service shows only a purchase or rental price, treat the film as not included in that subscription.
- If no page appears for your region, the title is not confirmed there. Check Lionsgate’s official site for its current digital storefront list.
What the evidence does not settle
- Subscription inclusion by territory. The sources reviewed do not confirm any country’s catalog.
- Rental terms and rental windows. Lionsgate’s page lists purchase options only.
- Whether the November 7, 2025 date reflects a specific service launch. The listing does not say.
- Any change after October 2026. Catalog and retailer listings can change without notice.
For a documentary-focused viewer, Good Fortune is a fiction film, so it will not appear in documentary catalogs under that label. Look for it under comedy or Keanu Reeves filmography listings.
