Paramount+ streaming date
Paramount announced the streaming date on January 17, 2025, in a press release distributed through Paramount Press Express under the headline “GLORY RETURNS TO ROME ON JANUARY 21 WHEN GLADIATOR II STREAMS ON PARAMOUNT+.” The announcement’s operative sentence reads that the film “will stream on the service beginning Tuesday, January 21, in the U.S. and Canada.” Quote that sentence with its attribution to Paramount’s January 17, 2025 announcement, and keep the territorial limit attached to it.

Paramount’s Paramount+ title page for the film lists it as available to stream. That page also carries the service’s standard notice that content varies by region and is subject to change. A listing on the page therefore confirms the title is in the service’s catalog for the viewer’s region at the time of checking, not that it will remain there indefinitely.
Availability outside the United States and Canada
The January 21 date applies only to the United States and Canada. Paramount said additional international Paramount+ availability would be announced later. Readers in other countries should not assume the same date applies to them. The safest approach is to open the Paramount+ title page from the country where you subscribe and see whether the film appears there.

Digital purchase and rental
Digital purchase was reported to begin on December 24, 2024. That date comes from a secondary home-media release notice rather than a primary Paramount statement, so treat it as a reported date. Digital purchase is a separate route from a Paramount+ subscription: you buy or rent the film from a digital storefront and keep access under that store’s terms, whether or not the title is in your subscription catalog.

Editions and packaging can differ by country and retailer, so confirm the exact edition you want before buying. Retail stock also changes over time, and a release date does not guarantee that a particular seller has copies on hand.

It describes the original film’s viewing in that window, as reported by the studio, and it does not measure viewing of Gladiator II itself. Attribute it to Paramount when you cite it.

Why the dates may not match what you see today
