Part 1 premiered September 11, 2025, and Part 2 premiered March 19, 2026. Netflix Tudum reported on March 19, 2026 that both parts were streaming, so the full season has been available since that date.
Season 2 release dates
The season did not launch on a single day. Netflix split it into two installments roughly six months apart, which is why a search for a single “Season 2 date” can return only one of the two.
| Installment | Premiere date | Episodes | Source for the date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 2, Part 1 | September 11, 2025 | Not stated in the sources reviewed | Netflix’s official teaser and trailer descriptions |
| Season 2, Part 2 | March 19, 2026 | Eight, according to the relayed Netflix press release | A page reproducing Netflix’s press release for Part 2 |
| Full season status | Streaming as of March 19, 2026 | Both parts together | Netflix Tudum, March 19, 2026 |
Part 1 is the date to use if you are asking when the new season first arrived. Part 2 is the date when the season was complete, and it is the release that Netflix’s March 2026 coverage centers on.
What Season 2 picks up
Netflix Tudum’s March 19, 2026 guide introduces Kimmie as the new wife of businessman Horace Bellarie, who has risen to a powerful role in the Bellarie makeup empire. Tudum frames the new episodes around her position as chief operating officer and the power struggles inside the family business. If you are returning after Season 1, that shift in her role is the central change the guide highlights.
#1 Best Overall
Netflix’s teaser used this promotional line for the season: “Put some respect on her name and trust no one when season 2 premieres on Netflix September 11.” That wording is the streamer’s marketing copy, and it refers to the Part 1 date.
Where to watch
Beauty in Black is a Netflix title, so Netflix is the place to watch both parts of Season 2. Availability depends on your country. Netflix’s title page is dynamic and can differ by region, so if the season does not appear for you, check the title page on your own account and look at the available seasons list rather than relying on a date from an article.
How Netflix described Season 1’s performance
Netflix Tudum reported that Season 1 spent seven weeks in Netflix’s Top 10 and reached No. 1 in 28 countries in its second week. These are Netflix’s own reported figures, not independent audience measurements, and the Tudum article does not state how the country count was calculated.
Before you press play
- Start with Season 1 if you have not watched it. Season 2 assumes the Bellarie family setup from the first season.
- Expect the season to be watched in two blocks. Part 1 is the September 11, 2025 release, and Part 2 is the March 19, 2026 release.
- If Netflix lists Season 2 as a single season, both parts should appear under it in the season menu. If a part is missing in your region, the platform, not an outside source, is the authority on availability.
What the sources do not establish
The available sources do not give a date for any further season and do not name a physical release, collectible, or companion product tied to the series. Any question about a future season should be checked against Netflix’s own announcements, since no such date had been confirmed in the material used for this guide.
