Crave has scheduled Heated Rivalry Season 2 for Spring 2027, but Bell Media has not confirmed April as the premiere month. Its official announcements give a season window, not an exact date.
Is Heated Rivalry Season 2 coming in April 2027?
April 2027 has not been confirmed in the official announcements reviewed. Bell Media’s August 25, 2026 cast announcement says Season 2 is “scheduled to premiere in Spring 2027”; a September 3 announcement repeats that window. Neither specifies April or gives a day. Bell Media’s August announcement is the clearest official timing statement.
Bell Media’s June 4, 2026 programming slate also lists the series as returning during the 2026/27 programming year. That supports the planned return but does not narrow the timing to April. The slate and cast announcements are consistent on a 2027 return, not a specific month.
What has Crave confirmed about Season 2?
Bell Media announced the renewal in December 2025 and identifies Crave as the commissioning service. The series is a Crave Original created by Jacob Tierney, produced by Accent Aigu Entertainment with Bell Media’s Crave, and based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers books. Bell Media’s renewal announcement describes the series as a six-episode, one-hour romantic drama about rival hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.

Availability outside Canada depends on territory and rights arrangements. Bell Media says Sphere Abacus distributes the series internationally and has announced partners in particular markets, including HBO Max in the United States and Australia and NEON/Sky in New Zealand. Those deals do not establish that the series is available through the same service everywhere.

Rachel Reid’s Game Changers is a six-book series published by Harlequin, and Bell Media identifies it as the source material for the show. It is a natural companion for viewers who want more of the books behind the series, but the official announcements do not specify which book or storylines Season 2 will adapt. Harlequin’s Game Changers series page lists the books.
