Blue Bloods Season 14 has already aired: its final season began on CBS on February 16, 2024, returned from its midseason break on October 18, and ended with the series finale on December 13, 2024. CBS planned the 18-episode season in two parts, so the May 17 first-half finale was not the end of the series.
When did Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere?
The final season premiered Friday, February 16, 2024, on CBS, in the 10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT slot. CBS’s final-season announcement and its 2024 premiere schedule give the same date and time.
Why were there two premiere dates?
CBS announced Season 14 as a two-part final season: the first set of episodes aired in spring 2024, and the remaining episodes were scheduled to return in fall. The first half concluded May 17, 2024. CBS’s April 8 schedule update identified that broadcast as the first-half season finale and said the second half would return in fall.
The cited announcements establish the split and its spring-and-fall schedule, but do not give a specific reason for dividing the season.

When did the final episodes return?
The second half began Friday, October 18, 2024, with “Life Sentence,” Season 14, Episode 11. The CBS episode listing records the episode and air date.
When was the Blue Bloods series finale?
The finale, “End of Tour,” aired Friday, December 13, 2024. It is Season 14, Episode 18, the last episode listed on CBS’s episode page. CBS also published a separate series-finale preview dated December 14; that date belongs to the preview feature, not the episode’s listed air date.

What CBS said about watching the season
In its November 2023 announcement, CBS said episodes would be available on Paramount+. At the time, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers could use their local CBS live feed, while Essential subscribers were to receive episodes on demand the day after broadcast. Those were the announced arrangements in November 2023; they do not confirm the service’s current catalog, subscription terms, or availability in every region.
