The RV is not the Lisa Marie. The vehicle being built by YouTuber Jimmy Webb of Jimmy’s World is the fuselage of Elvis Presley’s former Lockheed JetStar, joined to a motorhome chassis. It debuted at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in July 2024. The most recent dated report on its whereabouts is a May 16, 2026 RVTravel trip report, which says the vehicle reached Memphis, was asked to leave Graceland, and continued toward Oshkosh. Sources reviewed for this article do not establish where the vehicle is now or whether it is open to visitors.
Which aircraft is being converted
The title’s phrase “Elvis Presley’s private jet” can point to two different aircraft, and only one of them is the RV project.

Elvis bought the Convair 880 in April 1975 and named it after his daughter, according to Graceland’s official page. Keeping the two names separate avoids the most common mix-up: the Lisa Marie is a separate, larger aircraft that remains at Graceland, and the JetStar is the one that became a vehicle.

Webb told AOPA that the jet had been abandoned in Roswell, New Mexico, for 41 years before he bought it about a year and a half earlier, and that he spent 18 months and his savings converting it. He also described a background in repairing vehicles, saying he had “always found broken things and fixed them,” from four-wheelers and dirt bikes to cars, and later running a restoration performance shop.
AOPA also reported Webb’s reasons the aircraft would not fly again: noise-compliance issues and parts availability. These are Webb’s explanations as quoted by AOPA, not an independent airworthiness finding, so they should be read as the project’s rationale rather than a regulatory determination.

Public debut in 2024
The vehicle made its public debut at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in July 2024, the point at which AOPA covered it. The 2024 coverage is the most detailed published account of the build that this article relies on; it describes the vehicle as a road-going project rather than an aircraft that could be flown again.
Latest reported status: May 2026
The most recent dated report located for this article is RVTravel’s May 16, 2026 trip report by Cheri Sicard. It says the vehicle made a road trip to Memphis, was asked to leave Graceland, and continued toward Oshkosh.

The report also describes the vehicle as lightly road-tested before the trip and records several problems on the road: issues with the air filter, the water system, the electrical system and lights, and a melted fuse, along with roadside fixes. These details come from that single trip report and describe the vehicle at that time. They do not show its condition today.
What is not established
- Current location: The May 2026 report places the vehicle on the road toward Oshkosh, not at a fixed site. No later location was found in the sources reviewed.
- Public access: Whether the Elvismobile is currently open to visitors, or on a viewing schedule, is not stated in the sources reviewed.
- Graceland: Because the report says the vehicle was asked to leave, it should not be described as currently displayed at Graceland.
Seeing Elvis’s aircraft at Graceland
Readers who want to see one of Elvis’s aircraft in person can visit Graceland, where the Lisa Marie is on display. Graceland’s official page says the airplane tour is included with its tour experiences. That is a visit to the Convair 880, not to the converted JetStar. Check Graceland’s current tour options before planning, because included-tour arrangements can change.
