For March 4–10, 2026, the week’s notable Canadian streaming picks range from the Fukushima documentary premiere on Crave to Netflix’s four-part The Dinosaurs and Disney+’s mix of weekly episodes and a complete series release. For scripted viewing, look to Apple TV+’s French thriller The Hunt, Prime Video’s Young Sherlock or Netflix’s Vladimir and War Machine. These are dated additions, not a guarantee that every title remains in a service’s current catalogue.
Documentaries and factual series to watch
Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare — Crave, March 10
This HBO documentary premieres at 9 p.m. ET. Directed by James Jones and co-directed by Megumi Inman, it examines the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, the danger at Fukushima Daiichi and fears about a possible evacuation of Tokyo. Channel Canada’s schedule synopsis gives figures of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake and 20,000 lives lost; those are figures from the listing, not independently verified here.
The Dinosaurs — Netflix, March 4
This four-episode documentary series traces dinosaurs from their origins to extinction. MobileSyrup describes it as a spiritual successor to Life on Our Planet and notes that Steven Spielberg is executive producer and Morgan Freeman narrates. Its four episodes make it a relatively compact factual-series choice for the week.
Disney+ factual releases
Disney+’s March schedule includes a new episode of Inside the CIA: Secrets and Spies on March 5, followed by the complete release of Friends Like These: The Murder of Skylar Neese on March 6. The schedule lists Ghost Elephants for March 8. These entries are not all the same kind of release: the first is an episode, the second is listed as an all-episodes drop, and the schedule does not specify an episode format for Ghost Elephants.

Apple’s Canadian episode listing gives the first episode, “Day of Hunting,” a runtime of 49 minutes, with French (Canada) audio and subtitles.
Young Sherlock — Prime Video, March 4

A nearby Canadian TV return
One adjacent date is easy to confuse with this week’s additions: Canada About Amazon reports that SCTV seasons 1–6, comprising 135 episodes, returned to Prime Video for Prime members across Canada on March 3, 2026. That is a day before this guide’s March 4–10 window, not a premiere within it.
How to use this week’s guide
This is a selection of notable additions, not a complete inventory of every service’s catalogue. The Canadian weekly guide dated March 6 covers March 2–8 and supports the Netflix and Prime Video picks and Rooster; a separate Crave overview covers March 5–11 and supports the March 8 and 10 Crave dates. Apple’s Canadian press and catalogue pages corroborate The Hunt’s March 4 availability. Disney+ entries come from a March 2026 monthly schedule. Crave’s weekly listing warns that programming may change, so check the service catalogue for availability before watching.
