Circus Baby’s backstory in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location centers on Elizabeth Afton, William Afton’s daughter. Fan-maintained story summaries say Elizabeth approached Circus Baby for ice cream and was caught by a claw inside the animatronic. The sequence is associated with a game minigame; the available account here comes from secondary summaries, not a verified dialogue transcript.
Who is Circus Baby?
Circus Baby is an animatronic performer associated with Circus Baby’s Pizza World in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location. The game’s official Steam listing presents the venue as a family entertainment restaurant with animatronic performers. It credits Scott Cawthon as developer and publisher and gives the game’s release date as October 7, 2016.
The listing’s promotional description reads: “Welcome to Circus Baby’s Pizza World, where family fun and interactivity go beyond anything you’ve seen at those other pizza places!” That is storefront copy, not a statement made by a character in the story.
How is Elizabeth Afton connected to Baby?
Fan-maintained summaries identify Elizabeth Afton as William Afton’s daughter and connect her death to Circus Baby. In their account of a minigame, Elizabeth approaches Baby for ice cream, and a claw captures her. The summaries link this event to Elizabeth’s death and her connection to the animatronic.

Because this sequence is being reported through secondary summaries rather than a verified transcript, it is best understood as the commonly described origin account—not as a fully established chronology or a verbatim scene description.
What happens to Baby afterward?
Baby’s later story is separate from her origin. A fan-maintained summary describes her as later separating from Ennard and having a subsequent confrontation in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator. That development belongs to later game material, not to the account of how Elizabeth became connected to Baby.
