But the available statements do not establish that Måneskin has broken up: in December 2025, guitarist Thomas Raggi said the group would return to write new music. He did not give a date, and no confirmed reunion, new band release or tour schedule is established by the sources cited here.
Why has Måneskin been quieter as a band?
After a period of touring, the members’ public activity included solo work. That helps explain why the band has been less visible as a group, but it does not establish a single official reason for the reduced activity.
Victoria De Angelis pursued DJ work
Sony Music announced De Angelis’s solo DJ project and reported that her first DJ tour began in March 2024. That is a documented individual path, not proof that the project caused a band break.
Damiano David launched a solo music project
In September 2024, Sony Music announced David’s solo project, including the planned September 27 release of “Silverlines.” In a May 2025 interview with El País, David described a long break after the band’s last tour and said his solo move was not a surprise within the group. The interview said Måneskin was not dissolved; these are David’s and the interviewer’s accounts, not a dated band announcement of a return.

Thomas Raggi released solo music
Raggi also discussed his solo debut in a December 18, 2025 interview with NME. His solo activity is distinct from the band’s plans: in the same interview, he spoke about returning to write with the group.
Did Måneskin break up?
The evidence cited here supports describing the band as on a break or less active together, rather than saying it has definitively split. David said in the May 2025 El País interview that the band was not dissolved. That is an attributed interview statement, not a guarantee of when the group will work together again.

Are Måneskin coming back?
Raggi expressed an intention to resume group writing, but did not announce a date or schedule. In the December 2025 NME interview, he said: “But of course we’re going to come back and write new music, and when we do it’s going to be so powerful.” This points to a hoped-for creative return, not a confirmed release, performance or tour.
A September 2026 report discussed a possible Måneskin appearance at Sanremo 2027. It does not establish an official announcement or confirmed booking, so Sanremo should be treated as speculation unless the band or festival confirms it.
