What WWE’s “Caesar Sikoa” Trademark Filing Did—and Didn’t—Reveal About The Bloodline

WWE’s “Caesar Sikoa” filing fueled speculation about The Bloodline in 2024, but it did not identify a performer. A separate “Talla Tonga” filing was later linked in coverage to Hikuleo’s reported on-screen name, “Tala Tonga.”

WWE’s June 2024 trademark filing for “Caesar Sikoa” prompted speculation that the name might belong to the next member of The Bloodline. But the filing did not identify a performer, and it did not confirm that anyone would use the name on screen. A separate WWE filing, “Talla Tonga,” later became associated in wrestling coverage with Hikuleo—but his reported on-screen name was spelled “Tala Tonga.”

What name did WWE file for?

The name at the center of the June 2024 speculation was “Caesar Sikoa.” WrestleTalk reported that WWE filed for the mark on June 19, 2024; WrestleView covered the application the following day. Both accounts described services related to WWE’s wrestling and entertainment business, rather than identifying a performer who would use the name.

The reported services included professional wrestling performances; broadcast and online distribution of wrestling programming; wrestling information; fan clubs; events; newsletters; and blogs. The breadth of that description does not establish whether the name was intended for a wrestler, a character, or another use.

Did the filing confirm the next Bloodline member?

No. Contemporary reports said the intended use was unknown. Writers and fans floated possibilities—including that “Caesar Sikoa” might be a new name for Solo Sikoa or a name for a debuting wrestler—but those were theories, not confirmation from the filing.

A trademark application is evidence that a name was filed; by itself, it does not prove that a particular wrestler will use it on television or that the mark will register. The reports from June 2024 establish what was filed and what was being speculated at the time, not a confirmed Bloodline casting decision.

How does “Talla Tonga” fit in?

“Talla Tonga” was a separate WWE trademark filing reported in June 2024. It is not another spelling of “Caesar Sikoa.” The names were discussed in the same news cycle, which can make it easy to conflate them, but they refer to distinct filings.

On June 30, 2025, Cageside Seats reported Hikuleo’s WWE debut alongside Solo Sikoa’s group and said the name shown on screen was “Tala Tonga.” That spelling differs from the reported trademark spelling, “Talla Tonga.” The later coverage therefore connected Hikuleo to a similar on-screen name, not to “Caesar Sikoa.”

Name What the reporting established What it did not establish
“Caesar Sikoa” WWE filed for the name in June 2024; reports left its intended use unresolved. No confirmed performer or on-screen use was identified in the cited coverage.
“Talla Tonga” A separate WWE filing was reported in June 2024; later coverage associated Hikuleo with the similar on-screen spelling “Tala Tonga.” The spelling is not identical, and the coverage does not make it the same filing as “Caesar Sikoa.”

What is known about the application’s status?

WrestleView reported on June 20, 2024, that the “Caesar Sikoa” application had met minimum filing requirements and was awaiting examination. That is a snapshot from the time, not a current status. The cited reports do not establish the present USPTO status of either the “Caesar Sikoa” or “Talla Tonga” application, so neither should be described here as currently registered or pending.
