What was reported about their relationship?

Retrospective summaries place Williams and Hammond together as early as 2017 and report that Hammond accompanied her to her sister Serena Williams’s wedding in November of that year. That coverage does not establish when the relationship began.
A ring report in 2018

In June 2019, Radar Online relayed Page Six’s report that Williams and Hammond had dated for about two years, had broken up, and remained friends. The account gives an approximate duration, not confirmed start and end dates. A May 2026 Vogue profile describes Williams and Preti as married and says they met in 2024, after Williams had been single for six years. That later context does not provide additional confirmation of the details or cause of her earlier split from Hammond.
