Sharay Hayes, who performs as “The Punisher,” reportedly testified that he was paid $800 to stage a sensual scene for Sean “Diddy” Combs and Casandra “Cassie” Ventura—and was told not to acknowledge Combs, look at him, or communicate with him.
What was the unusual request?
In testimony reported by People and republished by AOL, Hayes said Ventura instructed him to act as if Combs were not there. The report attributes this wording to Hayes: “She said do not acknowledge her husband, try not to look at him and no communication.”
Hayes also reportedly said he was asked to “create a sexy scene of me and her applying baby oil on each other and create a sexy environment that her husband would come upon.” The unusual element was the instruction to perform for Ventura while avoiding any acknowledgment of Combs, who was expected to come upon the scene.
Who testified, and what did he say happened?
Hayes, also known as “The Punisher,” testified in Manhattan federal court on May 20, 2025. According to the People report, he said he was called to a hotel suite at Trump Tower in fall 2012 to stage the scene for Combs and Ventura.

A later Southern District of New York opinion and order, dated September 30, 2025, says the jury convicted Combs on two counts of transporting people for prostitution under the Mann Act and acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Those outcomes are separate from Hayes’s reported testimony: the verdict does not, by itself, establish every allegation or detail described at trial as fact.
