What is Vladimir about?
Netflix describes Vladimir as a 2026 limited series about an English professor whose fixation on a younger colleague disrupts her life. Rachel Weisz, Leo Woodall, and John Slattery are among the cast. The series adapts Julia May Jonas’s novel of the same name; Netflix Tudum describes the book as a bestseller. Jonas, who created the series and wrote the novel, explained its title this way: “It’s a nod to novels that name themselves after the young women whom the man is obsessed with.”

What is Young Sherlock about?
Guy Ritchie’s Young Sherlock stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin as Sherlock Holmes in his early years. Amazon’s official description sets the young detective’s adventures in 1870s Oxford, where a murder investigation puts his future at risk. Its first season has eight episodes and streams exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, according to Amazon.
Amazon MGM Studios reports that the series had 45 million viewers in its first 28 days. That is the studio’s own audience figure, not an independently audited count. Amazon’s July 29, 2026 update said season two was in production and that no release date had been announced at that time; that status may have changed since.
