March 2024 had no single must-watch platform. Its notable premieres were spread across Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Peacock and HBO, so the most useful way to pick something is to start with the format, genre and service you already have. The shortlist below covers scripted series, films and one concert film, chosen as editorial recommendations. It is a historical schedule, not a current monthly guide, and it does not survey documentaries.

Why these titles stand out
Event viewing: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)
Disney+ made the concert film available for streaming on March 15, 2024. Disney’s official schedule described this full version as including the song “cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs, and it said of the concert film: “The concert film in its entirety for the first time includes the song ‘cardigan’ and four additional acoustic songs.” That sentence is Disney+ Press’s wording from its March 2024 schedule, not a statement by the performer.
The film’s theatrical run is the main context for its popularity. The Associated Press reported in 2024 that the concert film’s theatrical gross was over $262 million worldwide. That is a cinema box-office figure, not a streaming audience or revenue figure. Disney’s March 2024 schedule separately described it as grossing more than $260 million worldwide and as the top-selling concert film at that time, which is consistent with AP’s rounded number.

Animation and comics: Invincible and X-Men ’97
Both picks suit viewers who follow superhero material. Rotten Tomatoes’ March 2024 calendar highlighted the return of Invincible, Season 2, Part 2 and praised its writing, voice performances and character development. Disney’s schedule presented X-Men ’97 as a premiere that revisits the 1990s X-Men era, so it works well for viewers who know that period of the franchise. Viewers new to either property should expect a story that builds on prior seasons or earlier comics context.
Genre and prestige drama: 3 Body Problem, The Gentlemen and The Regime
- 3 Body Problem is a Netflix science-fiction series that TV Guide described as a major new property.
- The Gentlemen is a Netflix series that TV Guide described as Guy Ritchie’s extension of his 2019 film. It suits viewers who want the same tone in a longer format.
- The Regime is an HBO limited series that TV Guide described as a political satire starring Kate Winslet. It is a good choice for a single, contained season of satire.
Self-contained and film picks: Apples Never Fall, Damsel and Ricky Stanicky
Apples Never Fall is a Peacock limited series, which makes it easier to finish than a long-running show. Damsel and Ricky Stanicky are films, and the sources reviewed identify them as part of their services’ March 2024 slates without further critical detail. Pick them if you want a single-sitting option rather than a multi-episode commitment.

How to choose among them
When comparing titles, use four filters:
- Format: a film, a limited series, a multi-season series or a concert film.
- Genre or audience: crime, science fiction, animation, political satire or music.
- Original premiere date: the March 2024 date shown in the table above, which may differ from when a title appears in a service’s catalog today.
- Service at the time: the platform that first released the title, which is the one the schedule describes.
Checking what you can watch now
A March 2024 premiere date does not show whether a title is available with a subscription today. To find current options:
- Open the service’s own catalog and search for the exact title.
- Check whether the title is included with your subscription tier or requires a separate rental or purchase.
- Confirm regional availability, since rights differ by country and this guide does not cover them.
