For a returning series, choose BEEF Season 2 on Netflix; for a feature film, consider Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, which a U.S. streaming roundup reports on HBO Max. Netflix confirms the series’ availability, while the film’s reported listing is secondary and may vary by region.
What is BEEF Season 2 about?
BEEF Season 2 is a new story rather than a continuation of the first season’s characters. Netflix describes two couples drawn into a blackmail war around an elite country club. A young couple on the club’s staff witnesses a fight between their boss and his wife, setting off a chain of favors and coercion tied to the club’s Korean billionaire owner.
The central cast
- Cailee Spaeny plays Ashley Miller, a newly engaged, lower-level club employee.
- Charles Melton plays Austin Davis, Ashley’s fiancé and fellow staff member.
- Oscar Isaac plays Joshua Martín, the club’s general manager.
- Carey Mulligan plays Lindsay Crane-Martín, Joshua’s wife.
- Youn Yuh-jung plays Chairwoman Park, the club’s owner. Netflix Tudum also names Song Kang-ho among the cast.
Showrunner Lee Sung Jin described the generational contrast as a deliberate part of the character dynamic: “We thought, ‘What if we actually made them a little bit closer in age and highlight that generational divide?’” (Netflix Tudum.)
Where can you watch BEEF Season 2?
Season 2 is streaming on Netflix. Netflix’s Media Center gives the U.S. premiere as April 16, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. GMT; that is the season’s release date, not a claim that it is newly premiering. Netflix’s title page lists two seasons and includes trailers and episode listings: BEEF on Netflix.

| If you want… | Consider | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| A multi-episode series built around interpersonal conflict and a country-club power struggle | BEEF Season 2 | Netflix confirms the premise and streaming availability. |
| A feature film | Lee Cronin’s The Mummy | The HBO Max listing is reported by a secondary U.S. roundup; regional availability is not confirmed here. |
There is no common official rating or audience metric established for these two titles, so a numerical ranking would not be meaningful. The practical distinction is the format and the certainty of the viewing route: Netflix is confirmed for BEEF, while the film’s HBO Max listing should be checked for your location.
