What happened to the leading Addams Family cast?
Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams
Huston continued acting in film and television after playing Morticia. Career retrospectives cite, among other examples, The Royal Tenenbaums, the television series Transparent, and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. These are representative later credits, not a complete or current project list. Director Barry Sonnenfeld recalled that he and producer Scott Rudin agreed on Huston and Raúl Juliá for Morticia and Gomez. Raúl Juliá as Gomez Addams

Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester

Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams

Jimmy Workman as Pugsley Addams
Retrospective coverage describes Workman as having stepped away from acting and worked behind the scenes. Univision also mentions minor later roles and behind-camera work. The available reporting does not establish his present employer or day-to-day status, so it is more accurate to describe this as his reported career path than to assign him a current job. Carel Struycken as Lurch
Struycken continued appearing in film and television after playing Lurch. Univision also reports his interest and work in photography and videography, including interactive photography. Did the Addams Family cast reunite?
Huston, Lloyd, Ricci, Workman, and Struycken reunited at Los Angeles Comic Con in 2024 and posed together, according to Univision. The report describes a cast gathering; it does not say the event announced a reboot, sequel, or new production. A reunion is a chance to see former castmates together, not evidence that another Addams Family film is in development. Univision.
How current are these cast updates?
The sources offer different time windows. Biography.com published its retrospective in 2020; Univision reported on the reunion in 2024; and Us Weekly updated its cast coverage in February 2025. Their credits and career descriptions provide useful context, but they are not real-time filmographies.
