Taylor Swift’s engagement ring from Travis Kelce is no longer a mystery: the couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, and shared photographs of the ring. Swift’s publicist identified the diamond as an old mine brilliant cut and named New York jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry as its designer. Vogue describes an elongated diamond in a yellow-gold bezel setting, with engraving on the band.
What Taylor Swift’s engagement ring looks like
The ring has an elongated, antique-looking diamond framed by yellow gold. Vogue’s March 2026 close-up describes the stone as an old mine brilliant cut with rounded corners, set in a bezel, and notes engraving along the band. These are descriptions of the visible design, not a published technical specification or grading report.
An old mine brilliant cut is a historical diamond style often characterized by a relatively boxy outline, rounded corners, and softly curved edges. The Associated Press says the style dates to the 18th century and was designed to sparkle by candlelight. That history describes the cut style; it does not establish that Swift’s particular diamond is an antique stone.
Who designed the ring—and what Swift has said
The Associated Press reported that Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, identified Kindred Lubeck, who operates Artifex Fine Jewelry in New York, as the designer. Vogue reported that Kelce worked with Lubeck on the design. Swift later described the collaboration during an October 2025 Heart Breakfast appearance, as quoted by ELLE: “He designed it with this amazing jeweler; Kindred Lubeck is her name.”

Swift also said, “He did amazing. It was like, ‘You really know me.’” She was describing her response to Kelce’s choice and collaboration with Lubeck. Her comments support the picture of a thoughtful custom design, but do not provide a full technical account of the ring.
What is confirmed—and what remains an estimate
- Confirmed reporting: Paine identified the diamond as an old mine brilliant cut and confirmed Lubeck as its designer, according to the Associated Press.
- Published visual description: Vogue describes a yellow-gold bezel and engraved band. These details reflect its reading of photographs, not a jeweler’s published specification sheet.
- Unverified details: Exact carat weight, monetary value, diamond certification, and country of origin have not been established in the cited coverage.
Jeweler estimates based on photographs differ substantially. ELLE’s July 2026 article reports estimates ranging from about 7 to 9 carats, with one jeweler suggesting a possible size as high as 13 carats. Its reported value estimates range from $250,000 to $500,000, around $500,000, and $750,000 or more. These are individual expert opinions, not an appraisal or confirmed price, and should not be combined into one definitive figure.

Can you buy the same ring?
The available reporting describes a custom ring designed by Lubeck; it does not establish that the one-of-a-kind ring, an exact replica, or a mass-market equivalent is for sale.
